Lead Pastor and Teacher Margie Benjamin

Margie Benjamin is the youngest to the late Bishop and Overseer Benjamin.  She was baptized in the name of Jesus and was filled with the Holy Ghost in May 1988.  At a young age, Pastor Margie had a love for the Lord Jesus and surrendered her heart, her gifts and her life to him.  She served under her father for 17 years and returned home to carry the legacy of serving the people of God. She is called to teach, preach, lead and demonstrate to all the love and transforming power Of Jesus Christ; and  she is anointed and qualified for the assignment. 

Pastor Benjamin completed  her higher level of education and studies at Mount San Antonio College, Walnut, CA and received her Bachelor of Religious Education  from Lighthouse Christian College (satellite campus) LWBC Pomona, CA.  In 2016, she was installed as Senior Pastor of the Lighthouse Christian Worship Center in Savannah GA.  She is also an ordained minister and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Ministry. 

Pastor Margie has many years of training and experience as God’s Powerful Woman of Purpose. She serves with Virtue, Sincerity and in the spirit of Excellence!  She is passionate about empowering and teaching what God has invested in her to His People. 

Besides her father, Pastor Margie is grateful to have served under two other great leaderships and churches:  Apostle Henry B. Alexander of Pomona, California  Shield of Faith Christian Center (SOFCC), Bishop Charles H. Ellis III of Detroit, Michigan – Greater Grace Temple (GGT). 

As a leader and licensed minister, Pastor Benjamin served as: Associate pastor & New members Convert Teacher at GGT,   Youth Pastor & Pastoral Care Leader at SOFCC,  Psalmist,  Praise & Worship leader, Prayer Intercessor, Choir Director, and Altar Worker at both assemblies.  

She is also a gifted and anointed singer, songwriter, recording artist and producer.  Her assignment as a lead servant is to lead people with compassion to Jesus through worship, teaching & preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be that vessel of honor to demonstrate His glory!
